Today was the first day of school for Josh (2nd grade) and Max (pre-K). Yes, school starts ridiculously early here in Atlanta. It went very smoothly; we're lucky because our kids go with the flow and don't have any problems with new babysitters, new teachers, new schools, etc. Which is convenient when your M.O. is having a babysitter on retainer. If anything, we almost had to force them to say good-bye to us.
So if anyone was weepy, it was me. I just can't believe Josh is in 2nd grade; that used to seem so, well, old. And it just seems a matter of minutes before I'm wiring the playroom with hidden cameras while they're sneaking out to get their nipples pierced.
