Greetings from Wild Dunes, SC where the Ross family annual vacation is taking place. If you like your weather 100° and humid and your days chock full of political arguments ("OK you burka lover") and biting child-rearing judgments ("Why don't you let them stay up as long as they want?? It's summer!"), then this is your idea of a good time. Actually, it's a house of cards anyway since Sophie (Doug's 17 year old) and Jake (Bennett's 16 year old) aren't here, Alyson left within two days ("something suddenly came up") and Sam left to visit a friend nearby for three days.
So that leaves the people we see all the time (mom, dad, Josh, Max) in addition to Doug, Amanda, Amy and Bennett. And I'm not sure that this means anything: we've only been here for two days - but it seems live six weeks.
Four days to go and we can only spend about two hours a day at the pool or beach because of the heat. So I see Toy Story 3 (again), bowling, the aquarium, and Target in our future. Because we couldn't have done any of that stuff in Atlanta.
But we're making memories - right? RIGHT?
is your brother about to take a dump on Max's head?

I can't believe you let Doug that close to your children. Amy looks surprisingly lucid.
Summer started Monday so I think Summer 2010 is less than an optimistic title for these photos. Other - better - things may occur.
